Okay so in all fairness 2020 didn't start off terrible. I did a lot of traveling in 2019 so I definitely planned to continue that in 2020. I started out the year with my husband and good friends in New Orleans. We went the previous year, but this trip was special because Baylor played in the Sugar Bowl hosted in New Orleans, unfortunately Baylor lost. However, we had a blast the whole week we were there. February was pretty normal, we started to hear about COVID in Wuhan, and then in other countries but we didn't think too much into it. Fast forward to March where everything went south and worst of all we lost sports for 3 months. As an athletic trainer this not only effected my work, but my all time passion. Throw in having to look for a job and plan a move in the mist of a pandemic, this year was STRESSFUL.

Below are highlights of 2020. REVERSE ORDER.

DEC 2020. The time that I actually took time off work and went to spend a week with my sister and my niece. Spending time with family was exactly what I needed after all the stress I've been under. This has also made me strongly consider moving closer to home, something I've said I would never do. I will be making frequent trips to see my baby and get all the snuggles!

NOV 2020 Before COVID one of my goals was to visit each stadium in Texas, especially if they were playing Baylor. We made it out to Jones AT&T Stadium, but Baylor decided to blow a big lead. Not my favorite place but enjoyed the luxury experience with unlimted food and drink thanks to my dad's boss!

ree

I mean have you ever had to worry about toilet paper or if there was enough food on the shelves. I have also learned that there are safe ways to make unforgettable memories. So here's to a new opportunities for adventure!

Stay safe in 2021!

And here's to hoping that I actually remember to blog more often haha.
