The Dog Mom

One of my greatest titles, I am a Dog Mom.

Ruby on the right is a Miniature Schnauzer/Chihuahua mix, she is 3 years old. James and I basically stole her from my mom and she was the first dog that we raised together. Okay I'm kidding we didn't steal her, but my mom sent us a picture of her and I asked to keep her and then we drove home to pick her up lol. She was orginally named "Corn" by my popo haha, but we had a dog named Max and the time so we went with Ruby because of the bunny show Max and Ruby. If you've met Ruby she is the Queen B of our household, 7 lbs of pure sass and attitude. It's basically her way or no way and even though Judge has about 50 lbs on her she is still the boss. She is snuggly, and she doesn't yap. Okay I'm kidding she thinks she can take people out with her bark. She is the definition of all bark no bite.

Judge on the left is our precious Pitbull/Lab mix. He is 9 months old and he was my birthday present last year. James and I are Yankee fans and I am a big fan of Aaron Judge, so he is named after my favorite baseball player. Judge is the most spontaneous, goofy, and stubborn pup out there. He spends most of his days asleep, which is kind of ironic because he always seems to have the most energy. If you were to scroll threw my camera roll you will find him sleeping in multiple different positions, and locations. We actually bought a webcam for the house and everytime I look for him he is knocked out somewhere. He enjoys terrorizing Ruby and knows zero things about personal space. He is in your face all the time, but he's cute so I guess its okay.

Throughout my childhood we had several pets, but I never knew the true responsibility of what it took to actually take care. I can't tell you how many times that I told my mom or dad that I wanted this dog and I would take care of it, or the number of times that I actually took care of them. Probably more often than not I was too "busy" to take them outside all the time. But now with my two it's not even a question, from vet bills, dog food, and other items they are basically my children and they depend on me for that survival. I wish I would have realized this as a kid, but hey you live and you learn right?

Every time that I go the store for a random item I end up with a toy or some treats for the pups. When my kids ask if I have any kids I say I have two. My family would be incomplete without these furballs.

For all my fellow pet lovers you can definitely agree that pets make life better! These two crazies have a big piece of my heart!
