So for the last month or so there have been a lot of moving parts in my life. Going back to work, getting things squared away for the move, etc.

The biggest exciting moment is that I am going to be a Tia again! My baby sister is bringing a sweet baby in the world in December and we are super excited to be Tio James and Tia Christian to another bundle of joy.

This also brought out the when are you and James planning to have babies? Or comments such as now you're the only one without kids. Well everyone James and I are currently focusing on our career and traveling as much as possible. We love love love being dog parents! When the time is right we will welcome our own into the world.

Speaking of dogs, Judge will be 1 year old next week on the 1st! We plan to celebrate big even though our little guy is recovering from two procedures. The first procedure was a typical neuter. As much as I wanted to be a dog grandma, it was better for Judge to go ahead and get neutered to help with behavior. He went on Monday excited and no idea what was coming, he was off and on the next few days with pain. When he still was crying on Saturday we decided to have the incision checked out. Turns out it was infected and he was scheduled for a second surgery. Dropped him off this morning and got a call around 4pm that he was good but they were going to keep him overnight. Hopefully this correction helps him feel better, because we miss his craziness! I mostly miss our daily walks, we have discovered lots of new trails in Tyler. And before we had his procedure he was learning to walk properly on his leash. So definitely missing our night adventures.

My last day as an athletic trainer for John Tyler came this past week. It was bittersweet. I am really sad that I didn't get to spend the last few months seeing the athletes and the coaches every day, but not sure it would have made leaving any easier. I know that I am going to miss everyone a whole bunch, especially my friends here in Tyler.

Speaking of the transition, James and I have found a place in Dension and will be moving mid-July! Our doggos are getting a HUGE backyard and we are getting our office space with plenty of rooms for guests! While I am on shift at work I plan decor and shop A LOT. I have discovered Pinterest and have lots of ideas.

Work has been interesting at the least, and boy is it always changing! Here lately I have been working 12 hour shifts, and they are not for the weak! I have finished a book every day that I work, along with webinars. Although I miss my usual day to day work I am thankful that I am still getting the chance to learn more athletic training skills while getting paid haha. I have attended several different webinars with speakers who work with professional teams! I have also managed to read 70% of John Grisham books and I think I want to go to law school now. Haha just kidding! It has been fun for fellow doctors and other patients come in and comment on how much they like John Grisham and have suggested similar authors. I am currently about 10 books away from completing all the books he has written! Up next is the sport/coaching books I ordered!

Things have been different now that I am done with school. I completed my Masters on May 9th. The plan now is to take a break from school for now, but I am strongly considering a Doctoral degree but plan on taking at least a year to get into the flow of the new job.

The biggest adjustment throughout this process has been the lack of routine. With my work schedule always changing it has been difficult to get on a steady routine especially without having to worry about school work. So my new goal is to be more productive, stay tuned for future projects and maybe future blogs!

Throughout this time I have been spending a lot of time with friends and family. The break from social media has actually taught me to worry about other people less so I am thankful for that.
